Waterproof high-spec down jacket with Pertex® Shield fabric for the outer fabric.
It has been designed to minimise seams and reduce cold spots. Overall, this down jacket is a modern and voluminous item, but with a very high outer fabric specification that makes it sugar waterproof.

Pertex® Shield fabric is designed for intense mountain sports where lightweight and breathability are important, allowing you to move quickly while maintaining comfort.

The versatile construction combines a two-layer, lightweight outer fabric with a waterproof, windproof and breathable membrane, while the DWR (durable water repellent) treated surface fabric repels rain and snow and maintains breathability.

Stronger than most fabrics, so can be washed normally in a household washing machine and dried on a low temperature setting; no detergent specified, but rinse carefully. If detergent remains between the fabric and the polyurethane film, it can easily draw water in.
To restore the water-repellent properties of the fabric, it is recommended to put it in the dryer at a low temperature setting or iron it at a low temperature with a cloth. The fine hairs on the surface will stand up and water repellency will be restored.
