This shirt jacket is based on a 1950s US military work shirt. It is made of 100% cotton satin fabric that is close to the original, and has been processed to give it a worn-in look. While recreating the fine details such as the front flap pocket and buttons made with urea resin, it has been resized to an oversized silhouette with loose drop shoulders and updated in various places, including adding pockets to the side seams. While retaining its functionality as military wear, this piece has been reborn as a wardrobe piece for modern urban life.
